Christians of Abilene We Need Your Help:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”
Matthew 7:7-11 ESV
We are facing a growing need in our community for women to help in evangelism. The women we meet during Community Outreach are seeking spiritual counsel, and while our men are faithfully reaching out, there are situations where only a woman can truly connect and provide the care needed. Sadly, we’ve lost opportunities to help these women because there aren’t any Christian ladies to meet them where they are. We encourage you to consider joining us in this vital role to minister prayerfully.
You won’t be alone, and we’re happy to provide more details on what to expect if you feel led to help. If you're unable to assist directly, we ask for your prayers for those we’ve connected with. Please make use of the Community Outreach List, and if you don’t have access to it, I can share the names with you.
The prayers of the saints are incredibly valuable to us. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
Community Outreach
We will be following up with the homes that didn't mind a revisit and planning next month's member's home locations to do outreach.

Community Outreach
Every 3rd Sunday we will head to a different neighborhood from our local church body. We aim to build relationships and share the good news of Jesus Christ’s salvation so we may be saved from the punishment of our sin, which is eternal separation from God in death. God bless and if you have any questions contact us.
Community Outreach
We’re headed out into the community again and we need to follow up with others from our last visit. We will make this a monthly event every 3rd Sunday. If there are any changes we will post the change. This a private local event but please still pray for us and contact us for more information. God bless!

Church Congregation Active Shooter Training
Our Church Congregation Active Shooter Training is practical and interactive, far from a passive PowerPoint presentation. It emphasizes the importance of understanding our surroundings, remaining vigilant without succumbing to paranoia, being defensively aware when needed, and discerning when action is necessary.

Community Outreach
SHARING, VOLUNTEERING, and PREPARING are the 3 focuses of this group. Every day God gives us opportunities to share the Gospel with those in our homes, neighbors, and everyone else that crosses our path. We will follow up with our neighbors on this day to see how they are doing.
